How to test computer power supply unit?
Check connector cable PSU, there are 20pin connectors. See, search, and join green and black cable together, fan PSU will be rotating, so PSU is on or active.

USB EXTENDER (Up To 10m)

We all know that USB extender in the store have length about 3 meters. I try to connect printer-cpu with this cable. What happen?
The printer cannot detect to computer system. Why? Because there are a lot of current loose (USB extender cable is to long -- maximum length one meters) or bad quality of cable, so the device cannot be recognized.

Extender cable have 4 pin, there are

1. Red, refer to 5 volt dc
2. Green, refer to data +
3. White, refer to data -
4. Black, refer to ground

Belden cable has 8 piece cables, and they are:

1. orange,
2. white-orange,
3. green,
4. white-green,
5. blue,
6. white-blue,
7. brown,
8. white-brown

Now, we can build modification of extender cable. We need male and female connector of USB. Cut the cable, replace with Belden cable.

First we need to configure Belden cable, by joining:

1. brown and white-brown together, to red cable of USB
2. green, joining with green cable of USB
3. white-blue cable to white cable USB
4. and the rest of cable(blue/white-green/orange/white-orange ), joining to ground (black cable USB)

We have extender USB 10m cable and ready to use.
